Is there a responsible person here?

Every document in Store & Track has one (and only one) responsible person - someone who is responsible for managing the document, such as ensuring that any key dates are actioned.

Requiring a responsible person ensures someone will always receive email reminders as well as helping to keep the information in Store & Track accurate (avoiding the ‘garbage in; garbage out’ problem of systems that quickly become dumping grounds).

Manage key-person risk

Once you can easily see who is responsible for which documents, you can ask useful questions like, “Does this person have too many documents to manage?”.

Checking the list of documents a person is responsible for is also a really useful step to add to your employee exit checklist - suddenly you can be confident that all documents being managed by a departing person will be picked up by someone else.

Teams-based permissions for secure access

Easily control who can see which documents with teams-based permissions.

Any permissions set up during the signing process will automatically flow through into Store & Track.
