We’ve recently moved offices from the City Mill building on 11 Morrison Street to 131A Collins Street, above Bed Bath & Table / Fullers Bookshop, next to Sawak Cafe.

The Morrison Street space had such a cool startup vibe and we really enjoyed our time there. Having to pass Gold Bar every night leaving work was dangerous, but extremely convenient! We’ll really miss the high ceilings with old timber beams, but we needed more space and meeting rooms.

One thing we like about the move is being back on Collins Street, up near the Hobart Rivulet end of town. Another is that we have three meeting rooms (a boardroom even) and our own kitchen and toilets! If Morrison Street was our sharehouse for offices, Collins Street is our first time getting our own place.

Our front door and entrance area is on the ground floor right next to Sawak Cafe. Sawak is a very popular lunch spot, so there are always lots of people around. Our entrance area in comparison is pretty empty, other than a few plants and our daily collection of bicycles, ebikes and escooters. We’re guessing more than a few diners have wondered, “What’s ConMoto, a bike shop?”. 😆
