When we started ConMoto, we were clear that we did not want to start just another law firm. Our aim is to provide a better experience for our people and clients than a traditional law firm or an unsupported in-house legal team. Our culture comes from knowing both of these options well, but wanting to purposefully create a better one, combining the best of both worlds.
In the same way that we aim to be a new ‘third option’ for businesses who have been historically stuck between outsourcing to traditional law firms or bringing the work in-house, we believe we offer a great new third option for commercial lawyers who feel caught between measuring their worth by the hour in a traditional firm or taking a spot in an under-resourced in-house team.
As for the ‘Non-lawyers’ (a word casually tossed around in trad-law firms), we know that what will continue to set ConMoto apart, both for clients and for our staff, is diverse skill sets, perspectives and expertise. We can’t wait to welcome new talent as we continue to grow.

2025 Summer Clerkship Program
ConMoto Group is pleased to offer a summer clerkship for law students. It’s a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in a busy multi-disciplinary law firm and get paid while you do it. You will have two weeks working with our dedicated and diverse team, and experience the ConMoto culture - everything we do is driven by our core values of sustainability, engagement, improvement and practicality.
We’re looking for students in their final or penultimate year of study who are motivated, intelligent and curious. We are a group of energetic, friendly people who care about each other and our clients and we’re looking for like-minded candidates.
The application period will open on Monday 23 June and close on Friday 18 July. Interviews will take place in the first two weeks of August and offers will go out the first week of September.
The clerkship will take place the last week of November and the first week of December.
